About the P&C
We help families take part in school life — from canteen and uniforms to fundraising, events, and School Board elections.
All parents and guardians of Weetangera Primary School students can be members of the Parents and Citizens Association. Other interested people may join too.
Our objectives
- Promotion of the interests of the school
- Encouraging close collaboration between staff, parents and other citizens
- Provision of a forum where members can contribute to the development of the goals and policies of the school
What we do
The P&C runs social functions and fundraising, organises the election of parent members to the School Board, and supports day-to-day school services:
- Organise the canteen
- Operate a uniform sales service
- Run a second-hand clothing pool
- Regularly assist with school functions
- Organise social and fundraising activities, including the very popular biennial fete
Ongoing programs
Canteen
The P&C provides significant financial support to the school canteen, helping cover essential assets such as stock and appliances, and supporting staff salaries.
